We are pleased to invite you to facilitate the SEALA 12 Leadership Academy, taking place at the Dusit Thani in Pattaya, Thailand, from 22 to 31 January 2026. It is recommended that you arrive in Pattaya, Thailand on the morning of 19 January 2026 and may plan to depart on 1 February 2026.

As part of the Facilitator Corps, it is mandatory that all facilitators attend the Facilitator Academy, starting with the evening dinner on 19 January 2026 and continuing on 20 and 21 January 2026. Additionally, there are pre academy virtual connects leading up to our in person academy.

In these virtual sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet the Facilitator Corps and begin bonding with your co-facilitator. You will explore leadership skills that are inherently important to the success of our Learning Groups - in our Leadership Academy.

We ask that you must commit to joining the regularly scheduled Zoom meetings (TBD) of the SEALA 12 Facilitator Corps - leading up to the January program.

You must plan to arrive in Pattaya, Thailand, on the morning of 19 January 2026 and may plan to depart on 1 February 2026.

PLEASE NOTE THE Eligibility criteria for facilitators:

1. Must be fluent in English.

2. Must have been a member of a network for at least two years after your initial academy graduation.

3. Must have a strong professional background: Having some training as a coach or facilitator can be helpful, but real-world experience leading people is paramount.

4. Must commit to working long hours and attending all the plenary sessions, as well as all the Leaning Group sessions and Facilitators’ meetings as required.

5. Must be willing to commit to the cost of travel, incidentals, and the time to work on a volunteer basis. Meanwhile, all expenses for lodging, meals, local transportation, and Academy materials will be covered by SEALA.

6. Must read carefully “The Foundation for Facilitation” to make sure that you qualify for facilitation.

Facilitator Selection Process:

1. Please fill out the application form below and click SUBMIT.
The deadline for submission of applications is 31 August 2025.

2. The SEALA Facilitator Selection Committee will be reviewing the applications and selecting qualified facilitators. In addition to the above criteria we aim to balance experience, gender and geography along with other factors.

3. You will be notified of the committee’s decision via email.
